Overview

Putt Putt to Pro ("the App") is operated by Andy Walt ("I", "me", or "my"). I am committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

Information I Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use the App, I may collect the following:

• Name — provided during account creation or via Sign in with Apple or Google
• Email address — used to identify your account and communicate with you
• Age — collected during sign-up for child safety compliance (see "Age and Child Safety" below)
• Profile information — including your self-reported skill level, handicap, and golf experience
• Practice session data — including completed challenges, milestones reached, and practice activity you log within the App

Information Collected Automatically

I collect technical and behavioral information to keep the App functioning correctly and to improve the experience:

• Device type and operating system version — used for troubleshooting and compatibility
• App crash reports — collected via Apple's TestFlight and standard iOS crash reporting during beta testing
• Analytics events — including screen views, feature usage, lesson and challenge completions, onboarding steps completed, and session duration (see "Analytics Data" below)
• Session interactions — recorded via session replay to understand how users navigate the App. Session replay masks all text inputs; email addresses, passwords, and all form field contents are never recorded

Analytics Data

The App uses first-party in-app analytics to understand how users interact with features and content so I can improve the experience. The following types of behavioral data may be collected:

• Screen views and navigation patterns
• Feature interactions (e.g. which lessons or challenges are opened)
• Onboarding steps completed
• Lessons and challenges completed
• Session duration and frequency

This data is associated with your account but is used solely to improve the App. It is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared with advertising networks. Users under 13 are excluded from all analytics data collection (see "Age and Child Safety" below).

Information I Do NOT Collect

• I do not collect your precise location
• I do not collect payment information — the App is free to use
• I do not track your activity across third-party apps or websites (no IDFA, no advertising identifiers)

Tracking

The App does not track you across third-party apps or websites. I do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) or any third-party ad-tracking technology.

The App does collect first-party in-app analytics — behavioral data about how you use the App — for the sole purpose of improving the App experience. This is distinct from cross-app tracking and is not used to build advertising profiles.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Save your progress — milestone completions, practice sessions, and skill development history
• Personalize your experience — surfacing relevant lessons and challenges based on your skill level
• Improve the App — understanding how users interact with the App to fix bugs and improve content
• Determine parental consent requirements — age collected at sign-up is used to identify users under 13 and handle their data accordingly (see "Age and Child Safety" below)
• Communicate with you — responding to support requests or sending important App updates

I do not sell your personal information. I do not use your information for advertising purposes.

Age and Child Safety

The App asks for your age during account creation. This is done solely to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar child safety regulations.

• Purpose of age collection: Age is used only to determine whether parental consent is required before collecting personal information. It is not used as a tracking identifier and is not shared with third-party advertising networks.
• Storage: Age is stored as part of your user profile in Supabase (the App's database) under the same security and access controls as all other account data.
• Users under 13: If the age provided indicates you are under 13, you are automatically opted out of all analytics and session replay data collection. No behavioral data is collected for users under 13.
• No advertising use: Age data is never shared with or provided to third-party advertising networks or data brokers.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account without appropriate parental consent, please contact me at support@puttputttopro.com and I will promptly delete the account and associated data.

How Your Information Is Stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database and authentication platform. Supabase stores data on servers located in the United States and complies with industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may process your personal information:

I do not share your personal information with any other third parties except as required by law.

Sign In with Apple and Google

If you choose to create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, I receive only the information those services provide — typically your name and email address. Apple may give you the option to hide your email address using their private relay service, which I fully support.

Apple only provides your full name at the moment of first sign-in. If this information is not captured at that time, I will not have access to it in the future.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, I will delete your personal data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information I hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your personal information and account
• Export your data in a portable format

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is strictly necessary to determine that parental consent is required. Users identified as under 13 during sign-up are excluded from all analytics and behavioral data collection. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App without appropriate consent, please contact me at support@puttputttopro.com and I will delete it promptly.

The App may contain links to third-party products and services, including gear and equipment recommendations. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning I earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them — at no additional cost to you.

I only recommend products I believe are genuinely useful to golfers. Clicking an affiliate link and making a purchase is entirely your choice. I am not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or transactions of any third-party websites or services you visit through links in the App.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, I will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
